For our NAVAL HERITAGE. For a STRONGER BALTIMORE.

Navy League of the United States Baltimore Council

KEEP IT KEY.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge has historically marked the beginning — or end — of trips from Baltimore Harbor to the Chesapeake.

Now, with a new bridge needed to replace the damaged span, there will undoubtedly be voices proposing a different name for this iconic Baltimore nautical landmark.

It is our mission to protect the Francis Scott Key name, ensuring his legacy as author of our National Anthem is never forgotten.

Through proactive and direct communication with leaders, more than 200 years of naval heritage here in Baltimore won’t be lost.

Add your name to the list of citizens to ensure the new span keeps its honorable name.

WHAT WE DO

Promoting the Sea Services

From commissioning ceremonies to special guest speakers sharing their knowledge on topics that impact naval readiness, the Baltimore Navy League is the connection between our sea services and our community.

Supporting Sea Cadets

Baltimore Navy League is a proud sponsor of the Navy Sea Cadets program. Financial support helps more Baltimore area youth develop skills, knowledge, and confidence, while adhering to our core values of honor, respect, commitment, and service.

Rebuilding NJROTC Programs

NJROTC programs instill the values of citizenship, service to the United States, and personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment. It’s our mission at the Baltimore Navy League to proudly return them to a position of pride in our school systems.
